Metrobank Art & Design Excellence 2010

Here are the winning works from the recently concluded Metrobank Art & Design Excellence (MADE) 2010 which is held annually. For the Sculpture category Marc Vincent Cosico emerged as Grand prize winner for his entry "Superhero Complex". Dennis Ticao landed the Special prize award for his entry "Riders of the Storm". Each of them won P200,000 and P150,000 respectively.

On the Water media category Lester Rodriguez got the top spot for his entry "Hidden Agenda" while Kathleen Yeo managed to bagged the special prize for her entry "Patungo". They won P200,000 and P150,000 respectively.

Next year I'll join!

A Funny Bar Joke! c",)

A young man goes into a pharmacy and tells the pharmacist, “Could you give me a condom? I’m going to my girlfriend’s house for dinner and I might get lucky!” The pharmacist gives him the condom, but as the young man is going out, he returns and says: “Give me another condom. My girlfriend’s sister is very cute ad she always crosses her legs provocatively when she sees me. I might get lucky with her, too.”

As the boy leaves again he turns back and says: “I need one more condom. My girlfriend’s mom is still pretty cute and she always makes eye contact. I think she is expecting me to make a move!” During dinner, the young man is sitting with his girlfriend on his left, the sister on his right and the mum facing him. When the dad gets there, the boy lowers his head and starts praying, “Dear Lord, bless this dinner and thank you for all you gave us.” A minute later the boy is still praying; “Thank you, Lord, for your kindness.” Ten minutes go by and the boy is still praying while still keeping his head down.

Finally, his girlfriend gets closer to the boy and whispers in his ear, “I didn’t know you were so religious.” To which the boy replies, “I didn’t know your dad was a pharmacist!

When was the last time you made someone feel (Sooo) Special and Loved?

Whether it's your Parents, Love Ones, Special (Some) Ones, or a Complete Stranger.

Me?

I did it last October 25. To whom? To a Stranger. The only thing that bonded/connected us together was "Music". It's her Birthday the other day that's why I gave her a "ROSE". Even though I didn't had the opportunity to hand the flower to her personally... IT WAS ALL GOOD!

That Extraordinary Feeling.. that you've made someone feel Special and Loved.

A restaurant posts a sign that says "$500 if we fail to fill your order." A customer decides to put it to the test by ordering " Elephant ears on Rye". The waitress writes down his order and walks to the kitchen.

Seconds later, the Chef storms out of the kitchen, goes to the customer's table, and slams down $500 bills. "You Got Me," he tells the customer. "But I want you to know that this is the first time in ten years we've been out of Rye bread."

New BlackEyedPeas Album Coming

A new BEP(BlackEyedPeas) album will be out on June 9 (US date).

So to all BEP FANS (count me) who've waited almost 4 years since their last album(Monkey Business)..

The Time has Come..

Its THE E-N-D.


I know that the album title gives a Negative Approach. But don't worry because as you noticed there is a dash (-) in between the END, calling our attentions to Not Judge It easily.


The E-N-D stands for The Energy Never Dies. This is what it feels like when Will.i.am, Fergie, Taboo, and Apl.de.ap are performing their songs. Their songs Never Dies.. It Inflicts. The 1st single is currently playing nationwide titled "Boom Boom Pow". It has already reached the #1 spot on Billboard Hot 100.


Accdg. to will.i.am the music of the new album has a lot of dance stuff, real melodic, electronic, soulful.

Last night, our neighbor went home Upset and Totally Disgusted.

He said that the Free Film Showing in our plaza was a Trash. He could not understood what the characters are talking about.











Curious and intrigued about it I dropped at our plaza..
I noticed the Film was.... "MR. BEAN".
